Blessings in a Backpack Southern Wisconsin Chapter will host the Bridge the Gap Gala on Thursday, Oct. 9, 2025.

The event promises an evening of elegance, entertainment and impact, raising funds to provide weekend food for children in Waukesha County. More than 11,000 children in the county face food insecurity on weekends when school meals are unavailable, leading to challenges that affect their health and education.

Proceeds from the gala will support Blessings in a Backpack’s mission to ensure local students have access to nutritious food every weekend.
